Kaun Banega Crorepati 13: Contestant Naivedya has an interesting question for Indian skipper Virat Kohli; requests Amitabh Bachchan to ask the cricketer

The latest episode of Kaun Banega Crorepati 13 began with rollover contestant Riddhima Chawla taking the hot seat and beginning with the quiz.

She went on to play confidently and used her first lifeline ‘Audience Poll’ to answer the fourth picture-based question.

After crossing the fourth question, Riddhima used ‘50:50’ lifeline to answer another question for 10,000 points. Next, a video showcasing the young contestant’s mischiefs is played which reveals her true side to the host.

Moving ahead, Riddhima chooses to use the ‘Filp the question’ lifeline when she fails to answer a cartoon based question. She shares that she doesn’t watch any animated series. The question was: “Which popular cartoon character, who is also a reporter, has a pet dog named Snowy?” The given options were: (A) Popeye (B) Shin-chan (C) Tintin (D) Donald. After using the lifeline, she correctly answers the Civics based question to win 20,000 points.

After going through a few questions, Amitabh Bachchan gets involved in a fun sequence with Riddhima. She acts as a teacher and is seen scolding him for not doing his homework. Post which, he makes a puppy face and says, “Sorry Miss”, keeping a finger on his lips. This funny act leaves the audience in splits.

Big B then surprises Riddhima and her parents with his compliment for her. He tells the contestant that she has the charm and skills to become a phenomenal actress in future. Soon, they get back to the game and Riddhima successfully crosses the important stage by correctly answering the 3,20,000 points.

Mr Bachchan continues to roll out the questions, after using up all the lifelines Riddhima gets stuck on the 12,50,000 question. She chooses to quit the game and takes home a prize of 6,40,000 points. The literature-based question that Riddhima couldn’t answer was: “Who was the author of the books “Grandma’s Bag of Stories” and “How I Taught My Grandmother To Read and Other Stories”?” The options given were: (A) Sudha Murthy (B) Anuja Chauhan (C) Kiran Bedi (D) Preeti Shenoy. The correct answer to it was: (A) Sudha Murthy.

Continuing with the game, Amitabh Bachchan begins with the ‘Fastest Finger First – Triple Test’. Answering the questions correctly in the fastest time possible, Naivedya Agarwal takes the hot seat next. Big B continues with the ritual of viewing the report card of the contestant.

While taking a look at Naivedya’s report card, the host pays attention to his interest in ‘anchoring’. After reading this, he shares that he is scared of him taking away his job. Going ahead, the young contestant asks Mr Bachchan about what should he call him, giving two options of ‘AB’ and ‘Dadu’. The host suggests that he can address him as ‘AB’.

Naivedya begins playing the game and answers the first five questions wonderfully. After answering the 10,000 points question based on Indian cricketer Virat Kohli, he raises a special request to Mr Bachchan.

The young contestant asks Big B if he keeps meeting the Indian cricket captain. The host shares that he keeps talking to him. Hearing this, Naivedya asks Mr Bachchan to question Virat Kohli on his behalf. His questions were, ‘Why does he lose the tosses and if he wins any why does he choose to field first’ and ‘Where does he buy his bat from’. Now, Naivedya will be seen playing continuing the game in the next episode.
