Sooryavanshi box office collection Day 20: Akshay Kumar’s film to cross Rs 300 crore-mark soon

Even in the third week, Akshay Kumar-starrer Sooryavanshi is doing great business at the box office. The film was released on November 5, and even 20 days after release, Sooryvanshi is managing to pull crowds to the theatres. The film is soon going to enter the Rs 300 crore club.

SOORYAVANSHI STILL GOING STRONG AT BOX OFFICE

Rohit Shetty directorial Sooryavanshi has collected Rs 278.13 crore, according to trade analyst Manobala Vijayabalan. He tweeted, “#Sooryavanshi WW Box Office, MARCHING towards 300 cr, Week 1 – 190.06 cr, Week 2 – 66.66 cr, Week 3, Day 1 – 4.31 cr, Day 2 – 5.20 cr, Day 3 – 7.37 cr, Day 4 – 2.19 cr, Day 5 – 2.34 cr, Total – 278.13 cr (sic).”

Trade analyst Taran Adarsh revealed that the film is doing good even on weekdays in the third week. His tweet read, “#Sooryavanshi is trending very well on weekdays #Maharashtra and #Gujarat continue to be key contributors [Week 3] Fri 3.26 cr, Sat 3.77 cr, Sun 5.33 cr, Mon 1.88 cr, Tue 1.70 cr. Total: 182.18 cr. #India biz (sic)”

MORE ABOUT THE FILM

Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif’s Soordyavanashi received mixed reviews from critics, but the audience loved it. Sooryavanshi is the fourth film in Rohit Shetty’s cop universe. While Ranveer played the role of a police officer in the 2018 film Simmba, Ajay Devgn starred in the cop series Singham.

The movie was originally planned to be released in March 2020.
